February 16 – 22
Finally, I have finished the animatic. I am still tempted to change some things around and rework it, but I need to move on to production. I also spent this week cutting up the animatic into new Harmony files so that I can send off the files to my practitioners for assistance. I am excited to get started on rough animations and some backgrounds.
I made a more official production schedule. You can find it in the 2DAN-310 process tab. This week, I worked with my best friend, May Fenton, to compose the music for this iteration of the animatic. I directed her with the feel I wanted with the music, but truly, I don’t know much else, and she just figured out the rest. This music is just a rough draft, and as the timing changes, the music will have to as well. The music is going to be slightly quieter than in this version and accompanied by sound design from Nai’a.
I will also be able to divide up work for practitioners going forward, and I am going to work on the sample scene.
